Story
This September, I’ll be taking part in the London to Brighton Bike Ride to raise vital funds for The Royal Marsden Hospital, a place that has become incredibly close to our hearts. My daughter, Eleanor, is currently undergoing treatment there for B-cell Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma. Watching her face this illness with strength, bravery, and determination has inspired me to do something meaningful in her honour.
Not only will I be cycling this, my plan is to have Eleanor in Tow!
For those who know me, I’m not exactly built for cycling and this is well outside my comfort zone! But in the same way Eleanor has faced every step of her treatment with courage, often far from her own comfort zone, I want to challenge myself too. This ride is my way of showing support and raising money for the incredible team at the Royal Marsden who are making a real difference every day.
Every donation, no matter the size, brings us closer to helping other families going through what we are. Thank you so much for your support.
From funding state-of-the-art equipment and ground-breaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
The team would be extremely thankful if you could help us raise as much as possible!
Every little bit helps and even if you are not able to support, we would appreciate if you could share the story to raise awareness on the extraordinary work they do.
Thank you very much,
Stuart, Amie, Eleanor and the Team Mazda UK L2B Cycling Team
