Story

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

—————————

So many of my friends, colleagues, relatives around me have been affected by cancer. After being treated for Hodgkin’s lymphoma last year, I have experienced first hand the absolutely amazing care, generosity and knowledge of doctors and nurses of the Royal Marsden and Kingston hospitals. I am endlessly grateful. It only feels right to give back in a form I can do best, which is to play a fundraising concert. My wonderful friends and colleagues have kindly agreed to help me with that.
