The Big Half 2025 · 7 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

Organised by London Marathon Events, the 13.1-mile course takes runners from Tower Bridge to the Cutty Sark in Greenwich.

Story

I’m running the half marathon in memory of my brother, Will Evans-Wright, who took his life on 6/10/24. I didn’t know much about PAPYRUS before Will died, but I want to do everything I can to ensure nobody feels the same as he did.

PAPYRUS is the national charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people under the age of 35 in the UK, every year over 1800 young people take their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £10 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives.
