Story
Sarah Hicks (known as ‘Boo’ to friends and family) lost her battle to cancer in 2002. Sarah had travelled to Kenya in search of alternative treatments and was struck by the poverty of the people she met.
The Charity was established by Sarah’s husband Russell, to make Sarah’s vision a reality: to help disadvantaged children through the support, care and opportunities to lift them from poverty so that they no longer need to rely on charity.
🌟Support our Team Triathlon and make a difference to disadvantaged children in Kenya 🌟
To raise money for this amazing charity, the Evolve team – Warren, Amy & David are taking part in our very own Evolve Olympic Triathlon - Circumnavigating Poole Harbour!!
🏊♂️We will be kicking off with a 1.5km swim, we’ll be swimming towards Branksome.
🚴♀️ Next up, the scenic 40 km bike ride! Our bike will take us around the Harbour, through Corfe and back to the chain ferry.
🏃♂️ The final leg! 10k run, which will see us navigate the prom, before heading up Branksome Chime and back to Evolve for a nice cold drink.
📅 Date: Friday 15th September
📍Location: Starting at Sandbanks Beach and finishing at Evolve
🏅 Every penny counts! No amount is too small, and your generosity will inspire us to go the extra mile (literally!) during the triathlon
And if you can't donate at the moment, that's okay too! You can still show your support by sharing this page with your friends, family, and colleagues.
