Like Mother, Like Daughter… Straight Out of a Plane! 🪂😂
Two slightly crazy women, one aeroplane, thousands of feet in the air… and a very good cause!
Two years ago, I did something completely terrifying. I jumped out of a perfectly good aeroplane!
Was I scared? ABSOLUTELY!
Did I question my life choices? MANY TIMES!
Did I survive? Thankfully, yes! 😂
And despite nearly dying of fright (not literally, of course!), it turned out to be one of the most incredible experiences of my life.
So naturally… I've decided to do it AGAIN! 🤦♀️🪂
But this time, I've managed to convince my daughter, Natalia (Nati), to join me!
Well… "convince" might be a slightly strong word. Let's just say it took some persuasion, and so far, she hasn't backed out. I'm taking that as a YES! 🤣
On 17 May 2027, we'll be taking the leap together!
Two generations, two parachutes, probably four very shaky legs and a LOT of nervous laughter!
And while we might be questioning our sanity on the way up, there's a very special reason we're doing this.
❤️ We're jumping for Camphill MK & Northants!
Camphill is a wonderful community supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism to live fulfilling, meaningful and independent lives.
It's a place full of amazing people, friendships, creativity, laughter and opportunities.
Through my work at Camphill, I see every day how much these opportunities matter. Whether it's trying something new, developing a skill, enjoying an activity, building confidence or simply having a brilliant day with friends — these experiences make a real difference.
And that's why we're doing this.
Every donation, big or small, will help support activities, equipment, resources and opportunities for the people who make Camphill such a special place.
Normally, we'd each have our own fundraising page, but Nati wasn't too keen on that idea. So we're joining forces and fundraising together — one page, one challenge and hopefully twice the support!
If you can spare a few pounds, we'd be incredibly grateful.
If you can't donate, sharing our page would mean just as much.
And if you happen to see us on 17 May, please remind us that this was OUR idea! 😂
Thank you so much for supporting us and helping us turn something absolutely terrifying into something truly worthwhile.
With love (and slightly trembling knees),
Ewa & Nati ❤️🪂
P.S. If I suddenly go very quiet on 17 May, you'll know I'm probably standing at the aeroplane door, wondering why on earth I signed up for this again! 🤣
