My name is Ewan and I am 17 and I would like to share my story.

When i was 14 years old my mum was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and for the next year she fought and beat it. During that year I was picked up by young carers and they helped me with mental health and staying healthy. When mum did beat cancer they didn't push me away but actually kept me close. During 2024 mum was diagnosed with stage 4 terminal cancer and I thought my world was ending. Young carers came and saw me the next dsy and have akawys pushed me to be my best while also providing support for me and my family. I am running in the supernova 2026 with the aim of raising as much money for young carers and give back to them as they helped me regain some sort of normality in my life
