I see examples every day of the outstanding care that staff deliver in the hospitals and community services in West Suffolk and the ways in which My WiSH charity enhances that. I wanted to do something that would really stretch me to raise money for the charity and this ticks the box. The repeated efforts of 7 half marathons in 7 days on increasingly tired legs will test my powers of physical and mental endurance to the limits.

I have chosen for all money raised to go towards the medical robot appeal. There are clear benefits associated with robot assisted surgery, some of which include improved patient outcomes, length of stay reductions and staff recruitment and retention.
