A team of electrical engineering specialists from EX2 Group will take on the 1,085-metre ascent of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) this May as part of a demanding sunrise charity challenge to raise funds for the South Western Ambulance Charity.
EX2 Group has worked closely with South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, delivering critical services engineering support and electrical infrastructure upgrades at their sites.
James Freemantle, Director at EX2 Group, who will be taking part in the climb, said:
“We have seen first-hand the dedication of ambulance crews and the importance of resilient infrastructure in supporting frontline services. We are proud to contribute, and this challenge allows us also to support the people behind the service directly.
Climbing Snowdon in the early hours will be tough, but it mirrors the teamwork and preparation our engineers bring to every project.”
Funds raised will support projects delivered by the South Western Ambulance Charity that enhance staff wellbeing, improve patient experience and provide additional resources beyond core NHS funding.
EX2 Group is calling on clients, suppliers and industry partners to sponsor the team and help maximise the impact of the fundraiser.
