Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

This year, we’re proud to be supporting Race Against Dementia, a charity that is very close to our hearts.

It is a charity that not only mirrors our company values, but resonates with us personally. With many of our family, friends and clients battling dementia, we want to support them as much as we can on their journey to finding a cure. However, Race Against Dementia is particularly meaningful to us because our good friend, and Georgie’s godfather, Christian is also an ambassador for the charity following his mother’s recent diagnosis.

These personal connections reinforce just how important research, awareness, and funding truly are. We’re honoured to support a charity that is working to accelerate progress towards prevention and treatment.

Our fundraising journey begins with an extraordinary challenge: In July Alex will be taking on a 100-mile trail run from Edinburgh Castle to Glamis Castle. Crossing historic landscapes and demanding terrain, this run represents resilience, persistance and determination—values that mirror the relentless pursuit of answers in dementia research.

Throughout 2026, Excellence Physio will continue to take on endurance challenges, community events, and awareness campaigns to help raise funds and spark conversations around brain health. Every step, mile, and donation brings us closer to a future where dementia no longer defines lives.

We’ll be sharing updates along the way and really appreciate your continued support; whether that’s through encouragement, awareness, or fundraising.

Thank you for being part of our community and for supporting the causes that matter to us.
