The Riding for the Disabled, was chosen for donations in her memory.

Jean was a volunteer at the RDA at Hittisleigh when she first moved to Devon. The Drewsteignton Ladies club also raised funds for the charity of which Jean was Chairman for a number of years.

Jean enjoyed her time helping children with disabilities ride horses and gained much enjoyment while observing how much pleasure and therapy children got from contact with the ponies and found it a privilege to be one of the charities helpers.
