Team RED Extra Mile Challenge 2026 – 500 Miles for London's Air Ambulance
Team RED will be participating in the Extra Mile Challenge from 17th–21st September 2026, cycling approximately 500 miles across France, Belgium and Luxembourg.
This marks our fifth year taking part in this incredible event. This year, we are proud to have three teams involved, with a total of 12 dedicated cyclists taking on the challenge.
The Extra Mile Challenge is a unique relay cycling event organised by Club Peloton, bringing together teams from across the country to raise money for charitable causes. Over three days, our teams will work together to cover the distance, supporting one another through every mile while raising funds for a cause that means a great deal to us.
This year, Team RED is cycling in aid of London's Air Ambulance.
In August 2022, our colleague Peter La Plain was involved in a life-threatening road traffic accident. Thanks to the rapid response, expertise and lifesaving care provided by London's Air Ambulance, Peter survived and is still with us today.
The work carried out by London's Air Ambulance is extraordinary. Their advanced trauma team delivers critical care at the scene of some of the most serious incidents across London, giving patients the very best chance of survival and recovery when every second counts.
By supporting our challenge, you will be helping to ensure that this vital service can continue to save lives and support families when they need it most.
Any donation, large or small, is greatly appreciated and will help us reach our fundraising target.
Thank you for your support and for helping us make every mile count.
