Eye Matter are delighted to announce that Fiona Musgrove and Richard Simpson are trekking together five hundred miles from the Alps to Rome, in January, for Eye Matter. What’s different about this walk? Fiona and Richard are both registered blind and doing the walk unsupported! Fiona lost her eyesight thirty years ago due to an allergic reaction to antibiotics and Richard lost eighty percent six years ago from Glaucoma. Together, they are a team, but they are part of a bigger team; Eye Matter, running Zoom activities and in person outings to improve the lives of people living with a visual impairment.
