Story
In Summer 26, a team of volunteers from Eynsham Medical Group, will undertake a 3 Peaks Challenge, aiming to conquer the tallest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales within a single 24 hour period.
The team has representatives from all areas of the Group, ranging from GP partners and Practice Management, to Research and Allied Clinical members.
They will take on this physically and mentally challenging event in support of SSNAP, a local charity providing support to the families of newborns requiring specialist care.
This charity has given many of our patients the support they need to get through some of their most challenging times, including personal experience of one of the team members within the group.
SSNAP
Imagine your newborn baby needing specialist care at birth. Instead of those very special days getting to know your baby as a family, you’re catapulted into an unfamiliar world of incubators, wires, alarms, medical tests and urgent interventions — a journey no parent is ever prepared for.
While your baby has specialist treatment at the John Radcliffe Hospital, SSNAP provide vital support to families. We also fund equipment for the unit, invest in training for NHS staff, run Little SSNAPlings and support research projects.
