Ezra was born prematurely at just 27weeks gestation and spent 10weeks in the NICU/Special care baby unit at the RVI, Newcastle. He had a rocky start but is so strong and a total superstar! He is now a healthy little boy and we will be celebrating his first birthday in September. Throughout his hospital stay we received support from Tiny Lives and we continue to do so as we attend social groups with other babies and their families who have also been through the unit. We owe them so much as a family.

We are hosting a community fundraiser on 21/09/25 in our local park (Richardson Dees, Wallsend) where there will be a bake sale, raffle, games, tombola, entertainment etc.

Tiny Lives support and champion premature and sick newborn babies and their families, at the Newcastle Neonatal Service and across the North East and North Cumbria. They offer practical and emotional support to families who spend time at Newcastle Neonatal Service, helping to make the neonatal experience a little easier and more comfortable for babies and their families, both while on the neonatal unit and when home. They also fund research and various projects on the neonatal ward.
