I am excited to share that I will be participating in the Great North Run 2025, embarking on my first half marathon journey to raise money for Shelter. Having worked with individuals at risk of homelessness in the past, I have seen firsthand the faces behind this pressing issue. It is heartbreaking to realize that many people do not have a safe place to call home, and I firmly believe that having a roof over one's head should be a universal right.

Shelter does incredible work in providing security and support to those who would otherwise find themselves on the streets. Their commitment to helping vulnerable individuals is inspiring, and it motivates me to push myself further than I ever thought possible. For those who know me well, running 21km is no small feat; it represents a significant challenge. After years of being sedentary and struggling with unhealthy habits, this goal means everything to me.
