As full-scale war in Ukraine nears its third anniversary, the cost of defending Europe's borders—and Ukraine's—is painfully clear. The sacrifice of lives, the loss of loved ones, and the immense bravery shown by these defenders are beyond measure. But the cost doesn’t end on the battlefield. Many defenders are severely injured, facing the permanent scars of war.

In partnership the Yanko, charitable foundation based in Ukraine, British-Ukrainian Aid is working to provide vital facial reconstruction surgeries for these courageous men. We aim to raise £38,000 to ensure that injured defenders receive the medical treatment they desperately need to restore their lives.
