Story
*Update* sadly not good news I’ve managed to injury myself. I’m got acute inflammation of my hip bursa, this is likely caused by all my training for the event. I am absolutely gutted I can no longer complete the walk. My physio has advised me not to, and to be perfectly honest I can’t even walk 100 yards without severe pain. 😭 I’m so sorry to let everyone down at the last minute. On a positive note I have decided once I’m all fixed I will complete the distance locally instead. I hope recovery is quick as I’m not a good patient!

On 11th April 2026, I will take part in the SheUltra 50k. The worlds largest all female ultra marathon from Abersoch to Pwllheli!! It's going to be a bit of a challenge! It will be worth it as the event is in aid of women with cancer, women who have a loved one with cancer and those who have lost someone to cancer.
I am raising funds for Breast Cancer Now, an incredible charity committed to providing vital support to anyone with breast cancer. They also conduct essential research into prevention, early diagnosis, and improved treatments for breast cancer. My goal is to raise £300 to help further this important cause, and give my little short legs a real push to get over that finish line!
Thank you so much for any support you can provide to me as I take on this challenge! ❤️ ❤️ ❤️
