Story
The Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم) stated that "The best form of charity is giving water”.
Gaza is experiencing a severe emergency with a critical shortage of clean drinking water, causing water-borne illnesses and disease. With daily temperatures over 30°C, Palestinians are suffering from intense heat and lack of water, increasing the risk of cholera and dehydration.
The need for clean water is urgent, but supplies are limited. Donations are essential to source and secure potable water.
For just £6.50, you can provide 100 litres of clean water, and £65 can provide 1,000 litres. A full tanker costing £2,500 can deliver 40,000 litres, enough to sustain a refugee camp for a month.
The goal is to raise £10,000 for the first five tanks. Immediate support is crucial to deliver this emergency aid to the people of Gaza.
Giving water is one of the most virtuous forms of Sadaqah Jariyah (continuous charity) in Islam, highly rewarded by Allah and recommended by Prophet Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم).
May Allah accept our good deeds and efforts, Ameen.
