Each year, Glenavon Falcons (under 8s for 23/24) choose a local charity on the Wirral and raise funds to help support the work they do in the community.

This year, we have picked Wirral Mencap and will be raising money by walking up Moel Famau. The players, parents and siblings will join in our walk to the top.

Its not the most difficult challenge for the parents (we hope :P) but one that will take some effort from our youngsters and we hope you will support us in our aim of getting to £500 for Wirral Mencap.

A little about the charity...

Driven by a small, committed staff team and our amazing volunteers, we work closely with people with a learning disability and their families to create opportunities and improve inclusion and accessibility. We want to help people with a learning disability live a happy and healthy life.

Furthermore, Wirral Mencap have directly supported some of our families at Glenavon and for this we are grateful.
