Merv and his brother Eric were handed into our care age 7 weeks. It was quickly noticed that Merv wasn't walking properly. He was taken to the vets where he had an x-ray and it was discovered he had a broken leg. Despite this Merv is a very happy kitten.

After many discussions with the vets it was decided that it was best for Merv to have his leg amputated, not a decision that was made lightly.

This is an expensive procedure at around £1500. We rely completely on kind donations from members of the public and this is a large amount of money to fundraise for.

Should we raise more money than is needed for Merv's medical costs, the money will be used for other cats and kittens in our care.
