Story
When a child is diagnosed with cancer life becomes full of fear, for them and their family. Fear of treatment, but also of families being torn apart, overwhelming money worries, of having nowhere to turn, no one to talk to.
At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you.
The Falmouth Sports Club is running a Tennis-a-thon on Sat 10th August. Lots of play for 12 hours, 8am until 8pm. Please support this great cause.
We have a court set aside for continuous play alllll day. Players book a place and play tennis for an hour, that's 4 players per hour for 12 hours! Sign up at the club to play or just support via this page.
Another court is for the mini players. Longest rally!!!!! To qualify the rally has to be 12 shots or more. They can play as much as they like with a score board running all day. Who will get the biggest rally?
The third court has Des O'Reilly, Ben Davies, Sam Fath and Charlie Martin playing doubles for 12 hours. How many sets will that be?
Please support this very worthy cause. Come and visit on the day, join in and play or just send a little money to this page.
Thanks to all of you from The Falmouth Sports Club.
