You may have seen and heard that at the Lister Hospital in Stevenage we are building a new children's unit. As part of this, we need to raise £2 million to create additional fun and resources to support our patients' journey, such as playrooms, education areas, garden areas, etc.

I've worked at the trust for over 17 years and seen firsthand how amazing the care can be and how much difference the sound of laughter and happiness can make in supporting the care given to our patients and their families. I want to help as much as I can, with the help of the community, to continue to develop this into the future for generations to come.

On the 5th of July, I am holding a family fun day where I'll have 30 stallholders, activities, and events for the whole family to enjoy.
