Hey guys! Welcome to be part of our family and our journey! We are a Christian missionary family in Ukraine, Anatolii (Tolik) and Isadora Shmyhelskii and our first daughter Elizabeth Joy who will be born on December 1, 2024. Tolik is Ukrainian, Isadora is Brazilian, and we currently live in Ukraine serving the country in missions with church planting, evangelism, social care for the community, orphanages and a home for the elderly, in addition to also serving with a Christian organization here in the city where we live (Lutsk, Ukraine). We want to invite you to serve this nation together with us in the midst of war, our calling to preach the gospel, support our family and other families who are with us on the mission field who need us so much, our help and support. We currently have our basic needs, which are food and shelter, which are covered by some work that Tolik does when opportunities arise and we also have support from other people who help us monthly a little, but we still need more people with a heart willing to walk with us, compassionate to those who need help at this time and providing financial and emotional support to our family, especially with the arrival of our greatest blessing, our first daughter. We want everyone to be able to follow us on social media and participate in the projects we are part of here, understand our routine, our dreams as a family, God's dreams. Currently our biggest need is to buy a car that has a heater for this year's winter. Last year we had a difficult winter with a very old car that helped us get around the city and ministries helping people, but it was always having problems, broken down and very cold. We understand that with the arrival of the baby, we need to protect and give her our best, and we know that God prepares the best at all times. Our challenge and dream is to still remain in Ukraine, and we believe that the war will end, but we need to get out of rent, which costs us a lot now because it is charged in dollars, it is even more difficult for us to pay. During the war, the possibility of buying a house in a village increased and this made it possible for us to buy a house to renovate ourselves and have financial stability and security in raising our children a little further away from the city so that they can also have a blessed childhood. At the moment we are unable to leave Ukraine in any way, mainly for financial reasons, and we know that we need maximum help in this period and season of our life, as missionaries, as a family. We live under a lot of stress in the country with constant attacks, each time it gets closer to the moment when we need to move to a safer place and we don't know tomorrow, but we believe, by faith, we have hope, that the time of peace is coming close. Still, we want to be able to buy a car as urgently as possible so that we can be ready at any time for any evacuation or emergency plan here in Ukraine.
