Hi friends!

We are Thijs and Lau, a couple from The Netherlands and Spain. We have lived in the UK for a few years and now in 2023, we are traveling the world. We have challenged ourselves to cycle Japan from South to North in an epic journey across the Land of the Rising Sun. One of the reasons we decided to take on this challenge is to celebrate the life of Laura's late dad, who died 30 years ago of a heart condition. In his memory, we would like to raise some money to fund vital research that would hopefully save many wonderful people in the future from facing an untimely death.

Thanks for visiting our page. We are raising money for the British Heart Foundation and we'd be so grateful for your support. The BHF has helped halve the number of people dying from heart and circulatory disease in the UK but sadly every day hundreds of people lose their lives.
