welcome to my justgiving page, my name is farhanah. to understand why i have started this fundraiser, please read below. thank you! ๐
over the past 6 months, the people of gaza have gone through unimaginable hardship. as a result of unjust bombardment and displacement, they are struggling to find food, clean water, and shelter. medical staff, within gaza's broken healthcare system, are struggling to treat their wounded patients due to the lack of basic medical supplies.
as someone with the privilege of having a warm bed to sleep in, an abundance of food and access to stable healthcare, it feels wrong to watch and do nothing. i believe that compassion and charity are not just virtues but an obligation. this is why i am fundraising on behalf of al-khair foundation with their convoy of mercy campaign.

Since the onset of the conflict, our warehouse in Egypt has been tirelessly coordinating aid efforts. It's a hub of activity, organising and loading relief onto cargo trucks bound for the journey to Rafah and, ultimately, crossing the border into Gaza. To date, we have dispatched over 225 aid trucks into Gaza, making a significant impact in alleviating the humanitarian crisis.
