We are sure that you are aware of the current situation in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
With this in mind, players from Farley Youth Tigers will be taking part in a difficult climb of Mount Snowdon to raise money for those most in need.
We have partnered with Al-Khair Foundation. This charity has operated in Gaza for over a decade. We've received strong reassurance of their credibility from various sources, including teachers from Schools Without Borders—who work directly with colleagues in Gaza and can attest to Al-Khair’s aid distribution. Additionally, the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs is currently supporting the reconstruction of Al-Khair Hospital in Khan Younis, Gaza.
Right now, starving Palestinians are being attacked even as they try to reach "safe zones" for basic essentials like water, food, and medical aid. This is no longer a matter of politics or religion—it is a humanitarian crisis. And we have a duty to respond in any way we can.
After the climb, some climbers within our team will travel to Cairo to support warehouse operations—packing and loading aid onto trucks. We want to make it absolutely clear that all travel and accommodation expenses will be covered personally by those involved; no donated funds will be used for this.
We could say a lot more, but the reality speaks for itself—we all know just how dire the situation is.
