Kai’s Colour Run Fundraiser for Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue

Kai’s Colour Run Fundraiser for Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue · 18 March 2025
In June 2024, we tragically experienced the passing of Kai Somerville, a fellow sixth former and friend of many of our students. Kai's bright smile and wonderful personality is dearly missed by us all.
It is important for us to do something in order to remember Kai's life and support a cause that was close to their heart. That’s why this year sees the introduction of the Colour Run into our charity week for the first time. This will be a colourful and fun event that celebrates the joy Kai brought into our lives, and will bring us together as a community.
The charity we have chosen to support with this Colour Run is the Harper Asprey Wildlife Rescue, an organisation that cares for native species across the UK, working to save Britain’s hedgehogs and rescue, rehabilitate, and release the species for which it helps.
The £5 entry fee only covers the operating costs, so we welcome and encourage all donations to help our cause and commemorate Kai’s life.
Charities pay a small fee for our service. Learn more about fees
