At Farsley Westroyd, we are proud to be raising money for the Royal British Legion as part of our VE Day celebrations marking the 80th anniversary. The Royal British Legion provides vital support to serving and ex-serving members of the Armed Forces and their families, and we want to honour their incredible work. To mark the occasion, children are invited to come to school in uniform and, if they wish, wear evacuee-inspired accessories or dress as an evacuee. We will also be holding a cupcake sale, with all proceeds going directly to this important charity.
