Story
Despite affecting an estimated 1 in 10 women, endometriosis remains a condition that is widely under-recognised. This March, in honour of Endometriosis Awareness Month, I’m stepping up to raise awareness and inspire change! For those of us living with endometriosis, this debilitating illness impacts not just our health, but our relationships, careers, and quality of life.
Endometriosis often takes an average of 8 years to diagnose, leaving many feeling unheard and isolated. It’s a chronic condition that can cause severe pain, fatigue, and infertility, and yet it remains shrouded in silence. This year, I am participating in the Jurassic Ultra March Coast Challenge—a 58KM walk from Corfe Castle to Weymouth on Saturday 17th May 2025—to help amplify the voices of those affected by this condition and raise vital funds for Endometriosis UK.
Endometriosis UK works to ensure that those affected by the condition receive the care, support, and recognition they deserve. Their efforts include raising awareness, improving diagnosis times, providing vital resources, and advocating for those who have felt overlooked and marginalised by their doctors, employers, and society.
I am incredibly grateful to have the support of my amazing friends, who will be walking alongside me, showing solidarity with those who live with endometriosis every day. Together, we hope to make a difference!
Every donation brings us closer to a world where endometriosis is recognised and understood, and where those affected no longer have to fight for the support they need. By supporting this challenge, you’re not only helping raise funds, but you're also playing a crucial role in raising awareness of a condition that impacts millions worldwide.
Thank you so much for your support—it means the world!
