Thank you for supporting Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital & Research Centre. For more than two decades, this hospital has been a beacon of hope for cancer patients and their families across Pakistan. Built on the belief that access to life-saving healthcare should never depend on a person’s financial circumstances, it has become one of the country’s most trusted and credible institutions.

My connection to this cause is deeply personal. My grandfather, Zafar Yaseen, passed away from cancer. Experiencing the impact of this disease on someone I loved showed me how devastating cancer can be for both patients and their families. It is one of the reasons I am committed to supporting this mission and helping those currently fighting this battle.

Every day, patients travel from across Pakistan seeking treatment, many of whom would otherwise have no access to specialized cancer care. What makes this hospital truly remarkable is its commitment to compassion and equity — approximately 75% of patients are treated completely free of cost, ensuring that those who cannot afford treatment still receive the care they need.

Cancer is not only a medical battle but also an emotional and financial burden for families. Your support helps provide life-saving treatment, dignity, and hope to patients who might otherwise have nowhere to turn.
