I’m delighted to share that I’m teaming up with Dallaglio RugbyWorks in a fundraising capacity this academic year.

Over the next year, I’m taking on “Beyond the Highest Highs and the Lowest Lows” a year-long challenge made up of running, walking, hiking and lifting, all leading up to a series of larger challenges. I’ll be covering a total elevation of 10,984km; the depth of the Mariana Trench, the deepest point on Earth (converted to km from m) to symbolise the journey through both the physical and emotional highs and lows that shape young people.

My goal is to raise £10,900, reflecting the number of young people excluded from education in the UK each year — because behind every statistic is a story that deserves a second chance.

Too often, exclusion from school is linked to unmet needs — whether Special Educational Needs, challenges with mental health, or difficult circumstances outside the classroom. But exclusion from school should never mean exclusion from opportunity, or exclusion from life.

That’s where RugbyWorks comes in. RugbyWorks uses the power of sport to help young people who are facing some of the toughest challenges. Through mentoring, skills development, and building resilience, RugbyWorks supports excluded young people to re-engage, rebuild confidence, and unlock brighter futures.

I believe every young person deserves the chance to thrive, no matter the setbacks they face. That’s why I’m raising funds to support this mission — and with your help, we can make a real difference.
