I’m raising money for the charity I work at One25. For those who don’t know, it’s a charity that supports women exit street sex work. These women have been deeply traumatised from childhood abuse and violence, which leads to life controlling issues and marginalisation. One25 meets the women where they are at, at their own pace and gives them unconditional support and the tools to begin to heal and recover. One25 does this by running the following services:

An outreach van every night that provides necessary provisions such as food, hot drinks, condoms, clothes and safety provisions.

A Health Hub for the women to come into the centre to see medical clinicians, have lunch and access things like showers and computers.

An amazing casework team offering one to one support for the women in specialist areas such as mental health, housing, alcohol and substance recovery, domestic and sexual violence

SWEP, giving women a trauma informed place to sleep during extreme weather

I am very privileged to see the amazing work my colleagues, the volunteers and particularly the women do towards a healthier and equitable future.
