Faye's friends take on the Etape Caledonia

Helen Davey is raising money for St Columba's Hospice Care
In memory of Faye Calder-Kelly

Etape Caledonia 2026 · 10 May 2026 ·

St Columba’s exists to give everyone who needs it the very best Hospice Care. We provide support to patients and their families in our hospice facility and reach out to people in their homes and local communities. We couldn’t do it without our amazing supporters!

Story

We are a group of Faye's friends taking on the challenge of the Etape Caledonia. We are tryng to harness some of the strength and determination that Faye demonstrated throughout her life, never shying from a challenge, and that shone from her in her last years as she faced her final challenge.

As well as the love and support of her wonderful family and many friends, Faye received amazing care at St Columba's hospice. We are raising money for the hospice to thank them for the service they provided for Faye, and so that other individuals, families and communities of friends can benefit in the future.

Within our group we are aiming to complete the 85, 55 and 40 mile routes all of which are hilly. The weather has not been encouraging for longer training rides, but we are all committed.

Please consider supporting this a excellent cause. Thank you from Alison and Ally Hume, Catherine and Ian Warmerdam, Daniel Prince and Laura McGadie, Finola Woodhouse, Helen Anderson and Matthew Perren, Jane Norie, Liz Roberts, Paula MacGregor and Helen Davey.
