Story
In the rural areas of Malawi, children with disabilities face significant barriers to accessing healthcare, diagnosis, and therapy. Many families cannot afford to take their children to hospitals for the necessary care, leading to a lack of support for these vulnerable individuals. The stigma associated with disability often isolates families and hinders their ability to find work or support within their communities. Additionally, caring for a child with disabilities can prevent parents from working or tending to their land, exacerbating the family's financial struggles. To address these challenges, Fulham Cross Academy Trust is spearheading the 'Malawi Building Project 2025' to construct a multipurpose centre. This centre will provide children with disabilities access to nutritious meals, basic education, and essential therapy.
We urgently need your support to make this vision a reality. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of these children and their families by providing them with the resources they desperately need. Together, we can create a more inclusive and supportive environment for these vulnerable individuals.
