I shall soon be taking on the London Landmarks Half Marathon, and I want to raise funds for a special yet harrowing cause. I will be running in support of Breast Cancer Now and all the incredible people across the globe who have been affected by breast cancer. It is the most common cancer in the UK and the most common cancer for women in South Africa.

According to statistics, roughly 1 in 7 women will be affected by Breast Cancer in the UK and in South Africa, roughly 1 in 26. The higher number is partly because some cases will go undiagnosed or undocumented due to a lack of access to medical support.

Having lost numerous family members to various forms of cancer, I want to do everything I can to help prevent the excruciating pain of having cancer or having a loved one be affected by it. I don't ask for much, but if you're able to donate anything, whether it's £1 or £100, your contribution will be massively appreciated, support an important cause and help to loosen the grip breast cancer has on women around the world.
