Families in Gaza are set to mark Ramadan in severely overcrowded shelters without food and clean water, as 1.7 million people are displaced and over 60% of homes are damaged or destroyed.
Usually during Ramadan we gather in the mosques for night prayers. Now most of the mosques have been destroyed. This year we’ll have none of the usual food that we have for Ramadan. - Islamic Relief staff member in Gaza
The families of Gaza are struggling to find basic food items, even during this blessed month.
This Ramadan, my aim is to support Islamic Relief, in delivering hot meals to the families in Gaza.
With your help, this Ramadan we can feed 500 people every single day of Ramadan.
It costs just £1000 to deliver 500 hot meals in Gaza.
I have made it my intention to raise funds for these families, and I need your help to do so.
