I am running the Sheffield 10k to help raise money for our Sheffield Music Hub Bursary Programme. I love running and what better way to combine a running event with raising funds to enable young people pathways into music education!!

Our bursary programme helps to support many families and young people that may find it hard to access music education for example those experiencing financial hardship, those with special educational or emotional needs and looked after children. There have been countless success stories of how our bursaries have helped enhance the lives of many young people as the benefits of a good music education are endless. Unfortunately though our funds are running low so myself, some colleagues and friends of Sheffield Music Hub are doing something about it and will be pacing the streets of Sheffield in the 10k on 28th September.
