Supporting Wirral Hospice St John’s 💛
Wirral Hospice St John’s provides specialist palliative care for people across the Wirral. It costs around £7 million each year to run the Hospice — care that is given completely free of charge to patients and their families. None of this would be possible without the loyal support and generosity of the community, whose fundraising efforts help sustain the Hospice’s incredible work.
Both of our grandads spent their final weeks at St John’s, and our family will forever be grateful for the care, compassion and support they received — not only for them but for all of us during such difficult times.
We continue to have friends who rely on the Hospice today. Although we wish more than anything that they didn’t need to, we’re deeply thankful for the kindness and dignity the staff and volunteers show to every patient and loved one who walks through their doors.
To give something back, Gaby and I are taking on a Fire Walk to raise funds for the Hospice — yes, that’s right, walking barefoot over hot coals! 🔥 It’s a bit daunting, but if it helps support this incredible place, it’s well worth it. (Let’s just hope we don’t get cold feet before the big day!)
Every donation, no matter how small, helps Wirral Hospice St John’s continue to provide this vital care and support for families when they need it most.
💚 Please give what you can — your support truly makes a difference.
