Audi & I will be competing together in the Glasgow Hyrox fitness competition on 15th March to raise money for the wonderful charity, Macmillan Cancer Support.

Please give generously to help us exceed our fundraising goal of £1,000. We're hoping to complete the race in under 1 hour 20 minutes, which is a daunting prospect. We'll be representing Team Sharesy and promise to give the race everything we've got!!

So many of us have been affected by cancer in some way. For me it was close to home. My mum, Wendy Atkin, received an OBE for her work in bowel cancer research, which has saved millions of lives. I'm so proud of her. However, in 2018 she lost her own battle to a rare form of Leukaemia, which was devastating for our family.

Cancer is an illness that so many others have experienced too. Audi will be racing for his close friend, Carla, who experienced her own brave battle with cancer.

Macmillan Cancer Support helps people affected by cancer, offering practical, emotional, and financial support. They provide nurses and specialists to care for patients, information to guide families through tough times, and advice on money and work.

Macmillan is there to listen, answer questions, and help people feel less alone during their cancer journey. They also campaign for better cancer care to ensure everyone gets the support they need. Together, they make life with cancer a little easier.
