Story
In November 2023, I was diagnosed with rhabdomyosarcoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. This was incredibly scary and uncertain time. Thankfully, after months of treatment including: chemotherapy, surgery and proton beam therapy, I was given the all clear almost a year later. During my treatment, I spent time at a number of different hospitals, including St. Bartholomew’s. Where I received outstanding care.
I am therefore honoured to be running the Hackney Half Marathon in 2026 in support of the Barts Charity. The charity plays a vital role in funding innovative research, advanced treatments, and patient-focused care across a number of London hospitals, including St. Bartholomew's.
Any donation is greatly appreciated, thanks for your support.
