Story
This year we’re celebrating two very special birthdays in a slightly different way.
Felix is turning 3, and Auggie is celebrating his 1st birthday. Instead of gifts, the boys have decided to share something they’ve been busy creating — their original artwork.
Over the past few months, the boys have been hard at work with their creations. The result is a collection of one-of-a-kind masterpieces created by two very enthusiastic young artists.
To celebrate their birthdays, we’re hosting a birthday art show, where friends and family can purchase the boys’ artwork. Every piece is completely unique, and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island.
We’re raising money to support the important work of the Children’s Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, which helps ensure Island families have equitable access to the health care their children need.
Each year, the Foundation touches the lives of over 6,000 children. Programs like Q̓walayu House in Campbell River and Jeneece Place in Victoria help keep Island families close when their children need to travel for health care. The Bear Essentials program also helps families cover the cost of health-related travel and specialized equipment. These programs are only possible because of donors who want to help support families during some of their most challenging moments.
While we would love to host everyone in our home, we unfortunately aren’t able to accommodate everyone in person. If you’d still like to support the boys’ art show but can’t attend, we would be happy to send digital prints of their artwork by email so you can still take home a little piece of the gallery.
Thank you for supporting our little artists and helping make a difference for children and families across Vancouver Island.
With love,
Felix, Auggie, and family
