This January I will embark on my first Humanitarian Clowning adventure, bringing joy and empowerment through the arts to impacted youth at the Thailand/ Myanmar border. It's extra exciting because this year, the organization is going to be establishing a permanent circus home- and I get to help physically build out and transform the space while I also bring joy and silliness!

This trip aligns with my values in many key ways that confirm it is the right moment for this work to happen.

After 15 years of working in this community, the team behind Stardust are finally able to take over a permanent space and transform it into a vibrant circus home. Local partners, youth groups and organisations have welcomed this project with open arms.

For many of the young people involved — including those who have escaped the Burmese civil war — Stardust offers something deeply important: a safe, joyful place where they can rebuild confidence, feel part of a community, and experience moments of pure fun and freedom.
