Story
Hello, I am Feras Izzat, an obstetrician and gynaecologist working at University Hospitals Coventry & Warwickshire. I had the privilege of being the clinical lead for our Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit for 17 years. during that time I witnessed first-hand the great impact Tommy's clinical research can have in preventing the heartache of pregnancy loss. This year I have decided to give something back by participating in RideLondon cycling 100 miles raising funds for Tommy's supporting them in the fantastic work they have done and continue to do preventing the devastation of pregnancy loss and supporting families achieving a great outcome... This year also marks an end of an era for me personally, as I have handed over the unit to younger blood to focus on my passion of clinical informatics as without the accurate data, organisations like Tommy's would not be able to do the great work they do.
Please help me raise funds for vital research to stop the heartbreak and devastation of baby loss and make pregnancy and birth safe for everyone.
