Fergie's fundraiser for SATEDA

Fergie Conway is raising money for SATEDA

Running 38km in Western Australia · 18 April 2026

SATEDA supports & advocates for victims of domestic abuse and their children. We work across Kent & Medway, providing Drop Ins, 1:1 support, Counselling, Support2Court & educational and therapeutic group work. We also have an employability programme for survivors of abuse.

Story

Hiya, I will be taking on a 38km run from Bridgetown [my current hometown in Aus] to Manjimup for SATEDA. SATEDA is a charity founded in the United Kingdom aimed to end the domestic abuse cycle and help women and children rebuilt their lives.

With my mum working for the charity I have had an insight about the issues that continue to impact the victims daily life. Therefore all proceeds raised will go to SATEDA in an aim to contribute to resources such as one-to-one help, court assistance, group programmes, essential items such as clothes and toiletries and much more life changing support.

The run will take place on Saturday 18th April and I will be starting at The IGA supermarket in Bridgetown and will finish at Woolworths in Manjimup. This will total around 38km, just shy of a marathon.

Any donation big or small helps so much and would mean a lot. Thank you for taking the time to read and I hope you choose to support such a powerful charity.
