The Phoenix has arisen... The Big One is back!

The team that brought you Dorset's award-winning fireworks evenings in Wimborne, has returned to Ferndown, as the town hosts its best community event in decades.

All in aid of the Ferndown-based John Thornton Young Achievers Foundation,

Music entertainment, children's fun fair, Sparkler Zone, glowies and light novelties on sale, and multiple food stands of all types available, plus 3 licensed bar areas.

An amazing fireworks display choreographed to music is scheduled for 6.30pm... the theme this year is "The Phoenix versus the Ice Dragon".

Huge thanks to Hearnes Estate Agents who are this year's headline sponsor, and UltraHeat, Tony Smith Kitchens and Ferndown Commercials as Gold Sponsors.

Gates opening earlier at 3.30, and lower-noise fireworks scheduled for 6.30, to encourage families with younger children to attend, and the evening continues until 9pm for the diehards.

Free entry, but donations direct to the John Thornton Young Achievers Charity are welcome.
