Story
The Wetwheels experience is designed to enable every disabled person the chance to experience the excitement of power boating. Wetwheels boats are truly unique by being fully accessible - not just giving you the chance to be a passenger, but also to take the helm as the skipper - everybody gets the chance to drive!
As a family we have been involved with Wetwheels Yorkshire since trips were initiated out of Whitby in 2018. Having taken Adam on a Wetwheels Solent trip off the Isle of Wight, a trip we all thoroughly enjoyed, we were delighted to hear Wetwheels were setting up in Yorkshire, meaning we could continue to take Adam out to sea. Now some 8 years later Adam is still involved with Wetwheels as a member of the volunteer crew, still loving his time at sea and sharing that love and enthusiasm with trip participants. As a family we have a lot to thank Wetwheels Yorkshire for but it is what they do to make trips fully accessible that we want to support.

So team Ferny that is Phil (OG [OLD] FERNY and Adam (FERNY) are taking on the 45th running of the Great North Run to support Wetwheels Yorkshire and yes a gauntlet (challenge) may have been thrown at me. So The Race is On 🤣😉😊 .
All donations to Wetwheels Foundation from this page will be used to provide trips on the Wetwheels Yorkshire boat for disabled people that are unable to pay for their trip.
