This year I’ll be running the Dublin Marathon to raise much-needed funds for Foyle Hospice here in Derry.

Foyle Hospice provides specialist care and support for people living with life-limiting illnesses. They don’t just look after patients—they support families too, offering comfort, dignity, and care when it’s needed most. So many of us in Derry know someone who has been helped by them, or felt the impact of the incredible work they do.

The reality is, services like Foyle Hospice rely heavily on fundraising to keep going. Without donations from the community, they simply couldn’t provide the level of care they do every single day. That’s why support like this really matters.
