Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page.

On 20 July, a few of my friends and I are heading to Birmingham for MUDGIRL in support of a charity dear to our hearts, K.U.K. Alliance.

MUDGIRL is a 5km obstacle course where we will be faced with mud, obstacles and inflatables.

K.U.K. Alliance is an education, health and empowerment charity, which I have supported since inception.

In 2018, I began supporting Malvin through K.U.K's sponsor a child programme. Malvin lost his father at a very young age and was being raised by his mother, who did not have stable employment. Financing his education was a continuous struggle and he often missed school. This meant, despite being academically gifted, he was behind his peers. Malvin and I exchange letters/e-mails and I have always been so impressed by his commitment. Halfway through his sixth form, his mother unfortunately passed away. Malvin has dealt with so much loss and has had a tumultuous start to life, but has persevered. Malvin wrote his A-Levels and I was thrilled to find out that Malvin achieved all As – Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics! The sponsorship has continued and in 2023, Malvin began his university degree in Computer Engineering!

Please consider donating and supporting children like Malvin!
