I am joining #TeamSpinal to take on the Berlin Marathon 2024.

This year I'll be running the Berlin Marathon in September 2024, one of the Abbott World Major Marathons, the 6 largest marathons in the world, all in aid of the fantastic charity Spinal Research and in memory of my dad, Brian.

My dad, ever the motorbike enthusiast, was out riding his bike one day in 1982 when he was involved in a car accident, leaving him with a T4 break and being paralysed from the waist down. He passed away when I was 16 in 2009 and therefore Spinal Research holds a special place in my heart.

I always think about him when doing any event and know he would think I’m absolutely bonkers!

After doing numerous running and triathlon events, topping it off with two full distance Ironman triathlons, I've decided to set my sights back on running and getting all of the Abbott World Majors done by the time I reach 40! This will be my second World Major after completing Chicago Marathon last year.
