Established in 1953, the Cancer Research Institute (CRI) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to harnessing our immune system’s power to control and potentially cure all types of cancer. To accomplish this, we fund the most innovative clinical and laboratory research around the world, support the next generation of the field’s leaders, and serve as the trusted source of information on immunotherapy for cancer patients and their caregivers

Story

🏃‍♀️ Running for Claire - Half marathon for the Cancer Research Institute.

This July, I’m taking on my first ever half marathon, partaking in the Run Melbourne event. I wanted to use the opportunity to support a cause that means a lot to me and so many others by raising funds for cancer research.

Sadly, my auntie Claire recently lost her battle with cancer. Claire was bright, warm, and passionate. She touched so many lives through her many years as a Montessori teacher. Setting up this fundraiser feels like a small way I can celebrate her life and help contribute something meaningful to a great cause.

By donating, you’ll be supporting vital international cancer research – helping to fund breakthroughs in prevention, treatment, and care that could change the future for countless people and families.

No amount is too small, and I see and appreciate every single donation. Thank you so much in advance for your support ❤️
